Students attending A-TECH embark on a learning experience designed to prepare them to be successful adults with the knowledge and technical skills necessary for the 21st century. A-TECH is a four-year magnet high school which offers students the opportunity to major in one of eight program areas. Students who enroll at A-TECH take advanced coursework in their chosen field in addition to rigorous academic classes that include Honors and Advanced Placement. A-TECH offers a full eight-period day with modified block scheduling. Students have the opportunity to earn college credits through our Tech Prep 2+2 program and through Advanced Placement Courses. Advanced Technologies Academy has been recognized each of the past seven years by the state of Nevada as an "Exemplary High School" or "High Achieving High School" for outstanding student performance. A-Tech's motto is Academics Plus Technology.
